In Je te veux !, Julie Cherrier-Hoffmann and Frédéric Chaslin celebrate the soul of French melody. Blending iconic masterpieces with hidden gems, their interpretation captures the poetry, passion, and nostalgia of this rich repertoire.

For their fourth album for Aparté, Julie Cherrier-Hoffmann and Frédéric Chaslin, after presenting cycles of creations (‘Chansons pour Elle’, ‘Rendez-vous’ with Pierre Arditi and Lucienne Renaudin Vary, ‘la Voix Humaine’ and ‘Fiançailles pour rire’ in an orchestration by Frédéric Chaslin with the Orchestra of La Fenice in Venice), are meeting this time around the masterpieces of French 'mélodie'. Frédéric Chaslin, a big name on the international opera scene, composer and pianist, gives Julie Cherrier-Hoffmann the full range of his instrument to offer us a selection of pieces found in the repertoire of the great composers (‘Après un rêve’, ‘Le Temps des lilas’, ‘L'Invitation au voyage’) and rarities, with Debussy's Romance and Alfred Bachelet's ‘Chère Nuit’.
